The ADHD Navigation System™

One struggle. Five steps. One tool.

This is the method behind every lesson, video, and course I make. Each one takes a single ADHD struggle through the same five steps and ends with a tool you can use that day.

The five steps

The same path, every time.

1

Awareness

What you're working with. The brain reason this keeps happening.

2

Observation

Where it shows up for you. Your own pattern, in your own week.

3

Regulation

Clear what's in the way. Settle your nervous system so you can move.

4

Environment

Set up your space so it does the remembering for you.

5

System

The rules that handle it, so you stop deciding from scratch.

See it on a real struggle

Always running late

1Awareness
ADHD brains feel time as now or not now. A 3:00 meeting stays "not now" until 2:58.
2Observation
You find where it hits you most: mornings, appointments, meeting a friend, or pulling yourself out of something absorbing.
3Regulation
One slow breath. Then: "It's okay, I lost track of time. What's the next thing I need to do?"
4Environment
The Launch Pad: one spot by the door for everything you need to leave the house. Plus a clock you can see without reaching for your phone.
5System
A leave-by time. "I leave the house at 8:15. Every time." For appointments, two alarms: one to wrap up, one to walk out.
The result: you walk out the door on time, with everything you need.
Why this order

Regulation comes before strategy.

When your nervous system is overloaded, the first job is to settle it. Then the tools have something steady to stand on.

Where it leads

You learn to do this yourself.

After you've seen the five steps on a few struggles, you start using them on your own, on whatever comes up next.
